The Universe

For this piece I worked purely in dot work using Copic pens. I attempted to create a drawing using only dots and no lines to create tone and shape. After 4 days and hour and hours of work I was able to create another universe inspired piece that I’m super happy with ✨

If you would love to purchase this piece its is available both as prints and framed work, I have included the sizing and prices below:

A4 (framed) – $40

A4 (print only) – $20

A5 (framed) – $35

A5 (print only) – $15

Animal Tattoos

These two designs were created as tattoo designs for two good friends of mine. The circus elephant is a tribute to my friend Tina’s Nan and Susie her circus elephant and the rose lion was a cool design created for my friend Tori 🙂

Butterfly Series

I am always asked “Why don’t you ever add colour to your work?” and honestly I much rather work in black and white and play around with the tone instead. But a few days ago I was walking home and I came across some pretty little flowers on the corner of the road and it gave me the idea of using colour in nature to create art.

The butterfly wing is simply pencil but there are no lines. I continuously stabbed my page to achieve the tonal range. The colour is simply lots and lots of tiny flowers I found while walking. I’m still trying to find a way to preserve them so if I do hopefully Ill be able to sell some prints 🙂

Work Doodles

Sometimes work can get really quiet meaning I get a bit of time to myself to draw. Here are a few drawings that started out as random sketches but turned into drawings that I am now selling as prints, framed prints and postcards. If you are interested feel free to send an email to lorraineangelina.designs@gmail.com 🙂

(Ball point pen on paper, February 2017)

My lovely friend/co-worker asked me to create a Valentine’s Day gift to give to her boyfriend on their fourth Valentine’s Day together. So she gave me some photos and ideas and I put together a polaroid collage of these special moments.  I added pegs and fairy lights to Tumblr up the vibes of the piece and add to the significance of each photo memory. I had so much fun drawing this one up and am so glad they loved it ❤

The Moon

(Ballpoint pen on paper, 2016)

This piece represents an important part of my art journey. Having artist block for over a year in conjunction drowning in uni work, I struggled to find the time and motivation to get creative again. The idea of a moon on a globe did not come from anywhere particular more just me experimenting with ideas and hoping it would some how work together. I am really happy at how this piece turned out and the amazing support and feedback I have received from friends and family has motivated me to create more of what I love.
